Boas Quintas Launches Two New Wine Tourism Experiences
26.03.2018
Boas Quintas has just launched two new wine tourism experiences. A game to guess wine aromas and the possibility for the visitors to create their own wine, are the two news that the company provides to those who want to go beyond the traditional visit to the winery and wine tasting.
“Apart from experiencing a moment in the countryside and take advantage of the opportunity to taste and buy wines, there are many turists who like to test their knowledge and deepen them, especially the most passionate and curious” said Rita Mendes, Boas Quintas Wine Tourism responsible, in Mortágua.
In “Aroma’s Game Experience”, we have a box with many aromas. The challenge is to guess the aromas in the presented wines. This experience can be very didactic and an authentic sensations journey. To complement the fun and socialization, if the wine tourist guesses three out of five aromas, receives a Magnum bottle from Boas Quintas selection.
In “My Wine Experience”, the tourist lives intensely the art of making wine. After dressing the winemaker’s coat, they can create their own wine, from three grape varieties. Bottling the wine and drawing the label is also part of this experience. The wine lovers will feel proud of their masterpiece.
Both experiences also include a visit to the winery and a wine tasting session (five wines).
In 2018, Boas Quintas intends to strengthen its offering in wine tourism sector, namely through the protocol agreement between Boas Quintas and Turismo de Portugal as a result of company’s application to the Linha de Apoio à Valorização Turística do Interior, in the scope of Programa Valorizar, signed on March 21th.
